Briggs continues his quest to coverup his part in the accidental death of Juan Badillo, enlisting Jakes to help. But when Juan's Crown Vick lands off the radar, Briggs is forced to read Jakes in and get to the car before Mike has a chance to snatch the incriminating recording.

Charlie continues to try and track down Jangles one her own, working with the mysterious Federale who has come to town, much to Johnny's dislike.
