Jack and Will find a totem pole of dead bodies and set out to find the killer. Their investigations lead them to a man named Lawrence Wells. He tells them that they only found him because he let them find him since jail would be a nice retirement for him, but Jack and Will destroy the one thing he worked so hard to accomplish: his legacy. They inform him he murdered his own son.

Meanwhile, Abigail Hobbs confesses that she had a hand in her father's murders to Lecter by helping him case the girls out and learn more about them. Lecter informs Will that he helped Abigail dispose of the body, and Will says he will keep the secret.
