Meanwhile Chin, Kono and Grover take in a local high school football game. Chin notices that the star quarterback Jesse is having an unusually bad day on the field. Chin discovers that Jesse's dad has been kidnapped by a drug runner whose business is going under. He told Jesse that unless he throws the game that they will kill his dad. Chin persuades Jesse not to throw the game and that he will go rescue his dad. Jesse turns it around and wins the game and Chin and Grover go in with guns a blazing and save his dad at the last second.
