On this episode of Hell on Wheels…

Cullen demands Syd release the prisoners.

Syd refuses and rallies his lawmen to prepare for a showdown with Cullen.

Cullen recruits Mickey and the engineer to help plan the escape.

Mickey is captured by Syd and after a beating, he reveals Cullen’s plan before being thrown in jail.

Mickey however stole the keys.

Syd takes the men on the train, and with the approval to kill Cullen from John Campbell. But Cullen rescues the men after they free themselves.

A gun battle ensues, but Syd escapes.

John wants to meet with Louise, and she sees him. The two have sex.
