Recap

Benson is questioned about Felix's death. She says she made a call and she thinks it was the right call.

Stabler stands outside IAB waiting for her. They compare notes. She thinks he let them believe that she stopped him from saving Felix. He says that he told them that she saved his life.

Bell offers to buy Stabler a drink now that this is cleared up.

Meanwhile, a bunch of cops violently knock a Black kid to the ground and break his hand for no apparent reason.

Bell and Stabler talk about Benson. She thinks he needs to find someone else. Her phone rings. It turns out the kid the cops messed with is her nephew. She meets her wife at the hospital, who doesn't want Stabler's help.

Stabler goes to see Angela. They end up kissing.  Angela pulls away and asks what they are doing. Stabler runs away.

Gina gets a visit from Wheatley. He thinks her apartment is very dingy. He had her followed as he is looking into her and thinks she has too unremarkable past. He wants to know about her past arrest for assault. She says some girls made racist slurs against her friend. Wheatley says he's scared of her. She makes it clear she's not sleeping with him and he says she passed his test. He offers her a ride to work and says he has to make a stop. Gina watches him go. She leaves and hears shots fired. She makes a call and then sneaks around. A delivery boy drops a Mcdonalds' bag when he hears shots fired.

Gina is back in the car by the time Wheatley comes back.

The dead guys are the ones who killed Felix. It's either a rival gang or Wheatley who is behind it.

Stabler asks Bell how her nephew is doing. They hear a noise and find a terrified child hiding in a bathtub.

Benson is called in to talk to the child.  The child is Giana, Jade's daughter. She forms a bond with her by talking to her about her toy elephant. The little girl points to Elliot's badge and says that's what she saw. The bad guys were apparently police.

Washburn says there was no police activity at that address. Benson will call Jade's attorney. Bell has to take off. There is still another shooter at large -- must be the uncle who is missing.

Bell meets Gina at a park bathroom and Gina fills her in on what she saw. Gina saw the uncle too and describes his tattoo.

The suspect is walking down the block, tailed by cops. He tries to run. A chase begins and he is eventually arrested.

Stabler and Bell question the suspect. He says he doesn't know anything about Felix's shooting, was against selling Purple Magic, etc. Bell says he is in a lot of trouble. She brings Benson in. She questions him about the trick roll scheme. He says it has been going on for two years.  She asks him about Simon. She makes him look at Simon's photo.

Stabler goes after Benson. He hopes she can let Simon's death go now. He knows nothing about Kathy's case and is staying away like she asked. She thinks he looks better even though he feels very confused.

Stabler asks Jet to look into some homicide cases connected to Quan. Meanwhile they need to rely on Becker to get Wheatley. They listen in while Wheatley goes on and on and Becker doesn't respond to him. Becker puts his finger on his lips and disables a bug in the office. Jet realizes what has happened. Bell realizes Becker's playing them.

Becker and Stabler have words. Becker says he only disabled the bug so Wheatley would trust him. He says Wheatley had the people killed in the apartment. Stabler threatens to have sent back to jail if he doesn't get something soon.

Angela competes with a kid in her class doing math. Maya wins. Stabler comes to see Angela after class. He's upset about what happened last night. She tells him he terrifies her because of the way he makes her feel. Wheatley shows up and accuses Stabler of trying to get into Angela's pants.  He confronts Stabler about the bug and tells him to stay away from his family.

Garland calls Stabler in. If they don't take Wheatley down, Bell's career is over because her wife's nephew is suing the department.

Meanwhile, Intel gives Stabler info about the bomb that killed Kathy. Too sophisticated for Salinsky to have built himself.

Stabler looks into the homicides. He appreciates Bell having his back. She hopes he has hers when the time comes. Stabler realizes Francis Lewis Blvd is where Raffiq was killed.  He finds Purple Magic in an envelope.

Stabler meets Angela, who says that she let Richard know he made his point. She says he's heavy today and he feels more like Detective. He tells her whatever this is can't happen right now.  He tells her he's a detective and driven into her life because of it. He won't let his emotions derail him from his mission. She wants to take him to dinner to give him info. He gets a call and has to go.

Stabler meets Bell. She wants him to stay cool. They are trying to catch Becker so that he can testify that Wheatley had Kathy killed. They are meeting him. Becker freaks out when he sees Stabler. Bell tells him they are searching his apartment for the vice for the bomb that killed Stabler's wife. Stabler attacks Becker and demands to know why.  Becker tells him that Wheatley didn't give the order -- Angela did!

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 1 Episode 5 Quotes

Angela: Seems this is becoming a regular thing.
Stabler: Yeah. I was just, um...
Angela: Hmm?
Stabler: That's a lie.

Benson: You let them think that you could have saved that man's life and I stopped you?
Stabler: I don't know what they told you in there, but I made it clear that if I had gotten out of that car I would have been a dead man, and you saved my ass. By the way you're welcome.
