Recap

Chang and Bell brief the others on Quan, concluding with the fact that intelligence has revealed Quan is getting a new batch of victims tonight.

Stabler goes undercover and gets the truck that is allegedly full of human trafficking victims but is accosted by a man with a baseball bat who refuses to drop the bat when confronted with a gun and runs from the cops. After a brief chase, the man is arrested and says his son is in the truck. The cops open the back of the truck and all the victims are gone.

The arrestee is a teacher who lives in China and came to America because his son was kidnapped and the Chinese government wouldn't help.

The Coast Guard has found an abandoned life raft. Reyes finds footage of the victims being put in another truck.

The victims are told that a lot of money has been spent to get them to America and they will be made to pay it back. The boy, Bhau, who has been kidnapped says he is not supposed to be here and he wants to go home. The trafficker calls someone.

The Coast Guard captain is working with Quan! He's not happy that he had to cover for Quan instead of just looking the other way. He blackmails Quan into more money but Quan walks away while the trafficker shoots the Coast Guard captain at point blank range.

Jet has learned a truck is missing. Bell wants her and Reyes to check it out. Chang is going to Chinatown.

The father won't give Stabler his contact's info. He says the cops back home won't help so he doesn't trust Stabler. He will take Stabler to the contact if he lets him out. If not, nothing.

Bell and Chang speak to an uncooperative woman. Bell tells Chang they should have stayed to get a meal out of it. Chang explains this woman plays both sides and will tell her CI the cops were here.

The contact won't tell anything. Wen  attacks him. Stabler stops him. He questions him about making fake passports. The man says the gang makes him and tells him where he delivers.

Stabler is not happy with Wen who says they are a good team. They exchange photos of their children before getting a tip from Whalen.

Stabler tells Wen to stay put which of course he doesn't and almost gets himself killed.

The cops raid a factory and arrest someone but Bhau isn't there.

Quan comes into the 4th precinct and complains it isn't his business. He claims Stabler is harassing him and when he's elected he will put a stop to it.

Wen says that the other people here who know something won't talk because they're scared of the gang hurting their family.

Stabler wants to use Wen as bait. Bell isn't sure it's a good idea as Wen hasn't listened to a word of STabler's instructions so far but Stabler feels they have no choice.

Quan speaks with the trafficker and says he doesn't want to take risks with the detectives poking around.

Stabler talks to Wen and explains they can't risk him losing his temper again. Wen says he gets upset when he thinks of Bhau being locked up. Stabler understands. He asks him what he teaches. Wen says he teaches high school science. Stabler points out he doesn't go after his students with a baseball bat. He needs Wen to channel that patience now.

Wen gives money to a man who says he can't give him Bhau back but he can buy him back at auction. Wen loses his temper after the man leaves but Stabler hugs him.

Stabler briefs the others and says Wen needs to go to the auction ahead of them. Bell is still skeptical. Thurman calls and she says there's a problem.

Quan announces he is donating to the 4th precinct so they can stop human trafficking. The OC unit realizes he's trying to shut them down and that 1PP is going to go along with them. Thurman warns Bell that if she's wrong this will be a firestorm. He can't protect them again and he can't justify getting money for the operation. Bell says Quan claims he wants to stop trafficking, get the money from him.

Wen has got the location and is being wired up. Stabler gives him instructions. It's time to go.

Wen reports to the cops what's going on and Bell sends Reyes in. Quan is at the event too -- will they get him tonight?

Quan calls someone and says they have a problem as Wen slowly advances. He tells his guy to get everything out and starts packing up.

The cops raid as the prisoners are being ushered out.

Quan is MIA and the prisoners are taken to a truck. Reyes and Whalen stop them and arrest the trafficker.

Quan is arrested and says his friends at 1PP won't stand for this.

Wen is reunited with his son.

Quan is being charged with 15 counts but STabler says he will celebrate when there's a conviction.

Chang is sad the case is over as she will miss Bell. Bell says she doesn't need an excuse to see her.

Stabler tells Bhau that Wen is a great man, very stubborn but very brave.

The other cops invite Stabler out to eat but he says he has to go home.

Eli is back! Stabler is making dinner for him. Tonight is just the two of them but the rest of the family is coming tomorrow. Stabler asks if Eli is seeing someone. Eli says he has friends then admits he has a girlfriend, Rachel, from Colorado who has red hair, smart, and thinks he's funny.
