The investigation into Wheatley's illegal activities continues on Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 1 Episode 5.

Benson and Stabler are questioned by IAB about Felix's murder and Benson assumes Stabler threw her under the bus, which he swears he didn't. A dejected Stabler goes off with Bell, who encourages him to move on from Benson, but their conversation is interrupted by her phone ringing.

Bell has to deal with her wife's nephew having been beaten up by some cops, and Stabler is not welcome at the hospital. He ends up going to Angela's and they kiss, but he wonders what the hell he's doing and puts a stop to it. Later, he tells Angela that he is a detective and is not allowing his feelings for her to derail his mission to find his wife's murderer anymore.

Meanwhile, Wheatley comes to see Gina and after messing with her, takes her to a street corner where he goes into an apartment building. Gina follows and hears gunshots. It turns out that someone has taken out all of Felix's co-conspirators to sell the bad Purple Magic, leaving behind only a terrified little girl who was hiding in the bathroom, and Stabler calls Benson in to help get the child to talk.

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 1 Episode 5 Quotes

Angela: Seems this is becoming a regular thing.
Stabler: Yeah. I was just, um...
Angela: Hmm?
Stabler: That's a lie.

Benson: You let them think that you could have saved that man's life and I stopped you?
Stabler: I don't know what they told you in there, but I made it clear that if I had gotten out of that car I would have been a dead man, and you saved my ass. By the way you're welcome.
