"America's Worst Crimes" covers a story of a girl, under the moniker of "Jane," who claims she got gang raped at a frat house at her college. Benson is watching the news story on TV while feeding baby Noah.

Benson finds out that the Mayor's wife is also watching the story, and has requested SVU to get on the case.

Benson says that "America's Worst Crimes" is part of a legitimate news organization, and that they have to take the Hudson case seriously.

Rollins and Carisi try to find a lead on the footage of Jane, and who she really is.

Professor Dillon says Jane refuses to disclose her true identity.

Barba is one the case as well now, and Benson gets him up to speed on locating Jane.

They decide that they used to try and talk to the president of Hudson University. President Roberts says she followed all the rules perfectly. She tries to claim that she doesn't need to reveal anyone's identity, and that Jane just had regrettable drunken sex.

"Jane" finally reveals herself to be Heather Manning. She speaks to a group of protesting students.

Heather reveals the name to be Brian Mackey, captain of the hockey team.

She also discloses that they sodomized her with an item, high-fived, and left her. The frat members also threw beer cans and jeered at her as she left.

Connor, Lance, and Zach are the last three names she reveals -- all members of the hockey team.

Fin, Rollins, and Carisi investigate the frat house. They find a video of them harassing Heather, but no more evidence.

Connor, the biggest jerk, who handed back Heather's panties to her in the middle of class, is surprised to find that his semen was on the underwear.

Connor says that he had sex with Heather after him, and Brian is caught in a lie.

Skip Peterson is on "AM Buzz" to give an update on the case from "America's Worst Crimes."

Buchanan, defending, Zach, who came back from Cuba, reveals that Heather was lying about Zach. He was nine hours away playing soccer, on tape, in video.

Barba questions Heather to try and get the real story and prep her if the case goes forward. He tells her to stick to the facts, and not to embellish. Heather says she was confused, and Barba asks about what.

The story has bits and pieces that check out, but it seems like Professor Dillon has helped her skew her story.

While the gang discusses how Heather's lies ruined this case, Heather comes back to try and talk to Benson.

Heather says Connor did actually rape her, and that Ryan saw. But Benson tells her that there's nothing they can do due to all the changes in her story.

At least all of this started a discussion on "rape culture" in general -- one that is long overdue.

Four defendants are apparently filing a lawsuit against Hudson University, and NYPD.

Benson goes back to apologize President Roberts, and warn her about Connor.

Watch Law & Order: SVU Season 16 Episode 18 online and witness why Benson thinks "rape culture" has been set back "30 years."
