Law & Order: SVU Season 20 Episode 24 revolves around the return of Rob Miller.

Benson is nervous about Miller being back on the streets, and to make matters worse, a federal judge has dropped the case against him altogether. Stone is determined to get Miller, but Nikki Staines won't testify.

Benson goes to see Nikki who is terrified because Miller killed her dog. Benson wants to nail Miller anyway. A body is found in the Hudson River -- it's a 16-year-old girl and Benson is convinced Miller killed her.

Miller threatens Benson by showing her how easy it would be to kidnap Noah and tells her to drop the case. Benson refuses.

Stone tells Benson that this incident means a jury could think she has a vendetta against Miller. He has an idea. He goes to see Nikki and they come up with a plan to frame Miller. In court, the victim's friend is blindsided by Stone's claims that Miller paid her off to claim she'd never seen him. They seem to be winning their case until Miller's lawyer calls Nikki.

Nikki confesses on the stand to framing Miller and says she's scared of him. Miller confronts Benson. Benson then confronts Nikki who is glad she did it.

Miller is convicted and Benson is surprised by what Stone has to say to her.
