Law & Order: SVU Season 22 Episode 11 revolves around the struggle for justice for African Americans.

When a Black woman and her girlfriend are kidnapped, a woman named Nicole thinks it's because she's an advocate for getting missing Black girls equal attention. Nicole is involved with Carisi but doesn't trust Benson. She thinks the cops aren't taking her sister's kidnapping seriously because of her skin color. Garland tries to reassure her otherwise.

Meanwhile, the cops race against time to find Sara before two men in masks auction her off to the highest bidder. The kidnappers are part of a white supremacist group and Kat and Fin take a guy in who turns out to be an undercover officer infiltrating the group. The officer recognizes the woman who lured the victims into her van and she is arrested but won't cooperate because she's anti-cop.

Nicole gets impatient and goes on the news to claim that the NYPD doesn't care about her sister's disappearance, causing the kidnappers to threaten to lynch Sara.

Meanwhile, Benson is frustrated that 1PP is resisting the reforms they promised and that Jayvon is going to reject a settlement because of it.
