Law & Order: SVU Season 22 Episode 16 revolves around a case in which women are being forced to have sex in exchange for safe housing.

A woman, Rosa, with a young boy is sitting outside the shelter she's staying at because there's no WiFi inside for her kid to do homework with. A guy gives her a number and she gets a huge apartment that her child loves... but soon she is having sex with the maintenance man that she doesn't seem happy about.

A nosy neighbor reports her concerns to SVU and won't take no for an answer so Fin and Kat go to check out what's going on. It quickly becomes clear that the woman is being forced to have sex with multiple men in exchange for this apartment. Garland refers SVU to a woman he knows who has a nonprofit helping homeless mothers get housing and Rollins recognizes the chief of staff to a state representative when she talks to the woman -- and he's one of the men having sex with Rosa.

Meanwhile, Garland finds himself under fire when his boss doesn't like what he said at a deposition in the Jayvon Brown case, while Fin prepares for his wedding.
