Hope was stuck in Malivore.
She was being pulled through several different scenarios including villains that she fought thanks to Malivore.
Ben arrived and he tried to get her to help him. She ultimately agreed to. In the end, she found that Malivore did not want her there because she had not activated her vampire side.
This meant that her theory to close the thing down was wrong and there was no way to do it without being a vampire.
Malivore kept trying to spit Hope out, and she ultimately allowed herself to go.
When she returned to the school, nobody remembered who she was and she saw Landon and Josie kissing in the woods.
Hope channeled her fake version of Landon to chat.
As for Landon, he was struggling with Rafael still being a werewolf and wanted to save his life.
However, one thing thing led to another and he got closer to Josie.
Josie tried to learn more about the ascendant and what it meant. She learned that Kai killed her mother and she decided to give it back to Alaric.
In the end, a surprising villain arrived in Mystic Falls at the cemetery. Who was it?
