The Variant tricks Hunter C-20 into telling her the location of the Time Keepers by using illusions.

The Variant arrives at the TVA through the portal. She tries to use her powers on a Minuteman, but they don't work. She uses her fighting skills to take them down instead.

Loki quickly follows her through the portal. They fight. Ravonna finds them. Loki uses a TemPad to open a portal for him and the Variant to go through. The TemPad loses battery power. Loki hides it somewhere.

They discover that they are on Lamentis 1 in 2077, a moon that is about to be destroyed by a planet.

Loki and the Variant call a temporary truce so that they can work together to get off Lamentis 1.

The Variant tells Loki that she goes by Sylvie.

Loki and Sylvie find a woman. She tells them that everyone else headed for the Ark to escape the apocalypse. They believe the Ark will have enough power to charge the TemPad.

At the Ark, they use their powers to get onboard. Loki gets drunk while Sylvie gets some rest.

Guards catch Loki and Sylvie and they fight. Loki is thrown off the train. Sylvie follows him.

The TemPad is damaged beyond repair from the fall.

Sylvie tells Loki that all the workers at the TVA were Variants before they joined, but they don't know that.

Loki and Sylvie try to get back on the Ark, but they are too late. The Ark is destroyed by meteor rocks.
