On Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 10, the McCords get ready for Stevie's wedding to Dmitri, but not before Elizabeth starts working on the Equal Rights Amendment.

At a historic bill signing, a woman who was born the day women got the right to vote tells Elizabeth she doesn't trust that any equal rights legislation will stay in place if there is not a Constitutional amendment. Elizabeth decides to get to work on it while also getting ready for Stevie's wedding.

Elizabeth and Russell want to make sure the wedding is apolitical, but when Stevie's chosen venue burns down, Stevie is forced to have it in the White House. Mike sees an opportunity to lobby representatives, which Russell vetoes, but Stevie later says she wants to do it.

Meanwhile, Russell tells Elizabeth that he and Carol have been separated since he became Chief of Staff. Elizabeth feels bad but Russell says talking to Carol would be a bad idea. Russell keeps trying to reconnect with Carol while also trying to prevent problems at the wedding, including averting a potential coup in Venezuela.

Stevie and Dmitri marry in a beautiful ceremony attended by all of the McCords' friends and family and officiated by President Dalton.

Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 10 Quotes

Elizabeth: I couldn't have got through any of this without you. I feel bad. Maybe I should talk to Carol.
Russell: No, don't. The only person she likes less than me right now is you.

Elizabeth: Wow! The pictures don't do it justice. It's like something out of a fairytale. Where did you find this place?
Stevie: It was on Blake and Trevor's short list.
Blake: Except then Trevor wanted more of a water element.
Elizabeth: Are you two going to actually ever getting married?
Blake: Yes, if we ever figure out how.
Elizabeth: So probably not, then.
