Recap

The squad tries to track down a parolee who has missed two meetings.

The parolee is a young man who rapes young women. His parents didn't tell the police he was missing because then he'd go back to prison, and he just got home.

When a body is found, it's not of a girl, but of the parolee - Eric Riley.

Dr. Morales was at the L.A. County Morgue's annual Christmas party so he was tipsy when doing the preliminary autopsy.

Meanwhile, a therapist attempts to evaluate Rusty after a game of chess.

Dr. Joe decides to make the game interesting, every time he takes a piece off the board Rusty has to share something about himself.

Sanchez knows the man who probably killed the parolee; the father of the girl who was raped that resulted in Riley's incarceration in the first place. Manny Diaz.

Sharon explains to Rusty that the victim and witnesses and officers involved with a case are required to relive an event over and over putting an extraordinary amount of pressure on them by the justice system, which is why therapy is sometimes warranted.

The girl in the photo in the parolee's room is found alive and well. She has no idea he's dead and breaks down in tears. She admits to working with Manny Diaz.

Dr. Joe strikes a nerve with Rusty.

Manny Diaz tells Sharon he would never allow Eric Riley near another girl again as long as he lived, that was the point.

Eric's father killed him when he discovered he was going to do it again. He believed his son was a ticking time bomb who should have never been let out of prison.

The deputy will face disciplinary action.

Dr. Joe sets up another game with Rusty, with a timer.
