Major Crimes Season 5 Episode 2 involves an investigation into the seedy world of porn movies involving barely legal girls. While Julio is at a hotel waiting for a woman he met online, he sees a cop he knows, Drew Hudson. Hudson indicates he is working so Julio leaves him alone. The next morning, Hudson is found dead.

Hudson had a lot of drugs on him so some members of the MCU are inclined to believe he was a dirty cop, though his supervisor swears he was not. The investigation quickly reveals that the crime scene is a rental property used in films and that it was currently being rented by Bo McClaren, a producer of pornography using 18-year-old women who he seduces on their birthdays.

As the investigation continues, it is revealed that Hudson may have been investigating McClaren undercover and that his business partner, Lisa, is not being entirely truthful about what her association with Hudson was. Lisa at first claims she paid him off to stop selling drugs to the girls -- but what's the real story?

Meanwhile, Buzz struggles to get the VHS security tape of his father and uncle's deaths to work, while Sharon has the heavy task of giving Rusty some news about his biological mother.
