Major Crimes Season 6 Episode 1 centers around three missing boys. The three Hispanic boys disappeared after a field trip to a museum. Provenza is reluctant to take the case at first because he doesn't think the boys were abducted, but Mason insists Major Crimes investigate.

One of the boys, Lucas Garza, is diabetic and needs daily insulin shots. When his backpack is found, it proves he doesn't have insulin on him and foul play begins to be suspected, especially after a search with dogs dead ends at a parked car that turns out to be empty.

Provenza suspects a priest the boys were close to, but there are more than enough suspects to go around as the bys'mothers all seem to have been in bad relationships, there are unexplained drugs and money at some of their houses, and a neighbor is prejudiced against Mexicans and thinks it's good news when he hears the boys are gone.

Meanwhile, Sharon keeps putting off a doctor's appointment after recovering from the flu and Rusty frets about not hearing from Gus. However, he may soon have bigger problems as there's reason to believe Stroh is after him again.

9 hours isn't missing for 15-year-olds. Maybe they went to the beach.
