When you watch Marry Me Season 1 Episode 4, you'll find everyone attempting to celebrate Jake and Annie's 6th "Date-Iversary". However, a massive storm comes to town forcing everyone down to the basement where Gil becomes the leader, Dennah finds herself oddly attracted to him, and Annie discovers Jake has a prenup from a previous engagement. Jake reveals he was engaged briefly to a crazy woman who happened to be the same woman who came and ruined their 1st date-iversary. Through the course of the evening, Annie and Jake come to realize that they don't have cursed date-iversaries, but their friends and unforeseen circumstances have ruined their previous date-iversaries. After kissing Gil, Dennah understands her unnatural attraction to authority and makes Gil promise to never mention their kiss again.
