It seemed suspicious, which it was, and Alex caught Claire in the garage basting a backup turkey. Alex decided to go along with the scheme. Meanwhile Phil was learning to cook through an audio instructional with Nigella Lawson, whose voice really seemed to turn him on.

The cooking was going well until Claire accidentaly blew a fuse playing with one of Phil's toys. Everyone went over to Jay's house since he was supposed to have been out of town in Mexico with Gloria and Joe. However, their trip was canceled and they decided to have a stay-cation.

They didn't want to risk being caught so they hid in the bedroom, then bathroom, before heading down the backsteps and through the front door and telling the family they came home early. Only one problem: they forgot Joe in the bedroom!

Meanwhile Cam and Mitchell are fighting with Lily because she is becoming really bossy and doesn't want to wear her Thanksgiving dress. They try to win their argument by trying on some of Gloria's dresses.
