- Albie: Let me remind everybody who we're protecting here. I think we all know it ain't just me.
- Luke: Assisted suicide is a felony in Texas, Nick. That means, if the D.A. files... Nicky: The cops are coming for me.
- Jamie: When Dottie Roman passed, the world, they lost the Queen of Country, but you lost your North Star. She focused you, polished you, pointed you to stardom. But I gotta ask, Mr. Roman. Do you even know who you are without her? If you ever want some help remembering who Albie Roman was and who he still can be, give me a call.
- Nicky: Being betrayed by someone you trust is painful. I hope you never have to feel that.
- Jamie: Nicky, you're so talented, and beautiful, in fact, you're spectacular but you're not your momma. Nicky: Well, now I know why my brother loves you so much. Jamie: No, what Im trying to tell you is don't be some Gen Y clown of Dottie Roman.
- Gigi: That bitch stole my song.
- Gigi: Of course you helped momma die. You''re just like her.
- Albie: The good news is you're going to be okay. But maybe we rethihk this bull riding thing. I don't think it's a good career move for you, HOss. We can't replace you as CEO. What would monarch do without you?
- Nicky leaves a bloodied piece of clothing in the hamper.
- Luke and Albie argue about the missing dead body. He reminds them that they're protecting more than just him.
- Flashes back to two months earlier.
- Ace and the others throw a party for Ana as she's signed to Monarch. Ana and Ace sing Watermelon Sugar together.
- Luke arrives to the party in a rush and wants to talk to Nicky. He confronts her about the Oxy and she tells him what happened. He tells her that she should have came to him first because if the DA comes for them, she'll get arrested for a felony.
- Luke and the rest of the company tells Gigi and Nicky that only one of them can debut at the rodeo, but Albie decides they'll both sing.
- Kayla tells Gigi that they have to level up and pick an incredible song. Kayla is excited to help Gigi with her look and everything else.
- Nicky wants to head to Nashville for help from songwriters to write a song for the rodeo.
- Nicky finds the perfect song but the artist wants to keep it to herself.
- Jamie, a music producer, comes to talk to Albie. He wants to reinvent Albie and remind the world that he's the king of country.
- Wade comes to visit Nicky.
- Gigi is singing Dottie's unpublished song. Nicky is upset about that and has to come up with something.
- Wade tries to get Nicky to take a break. He makes moves on her in the elevator while they're headed to her room. They hookup in the elevator.
- Albie meets up with Jamie and tries to get in touch with who he used to be.
- Luke is angry about Jamie being around and working with Albie.
- Wade plays a song for Nicky after they wake up.
- Luke tells Albie about Dotting selling the songs, and Albie talks to the lawyer about it. He demands to know the truth from him. He tells Albie that Dottie needed a lot of money because she was being blackmailed.
- Nicky alludes to her betrayal over Gigi taking Dottie's song. She flashes back to when she was younger ands he worked on a song How Do I Live, that she recorded and thought would play on the radio but Dottie took it instead.
- Jamie drops in to talk to Nicky. He calls her out for not singing a song that she has prepard and being in a competition with Gigi.
- Nicky cuts in front of GIgi and performs the song that Gigi sang from her mom. Gigi is livid.
- The crowd loves it!
- Luke feels threatened by the presence of Jamie. He goes to perform on the rodeo. The others are worried about him.
- Luke gets bucked off early and hurt. He has to go to the hospital.
- Nicky tells Albie that Luke was doing this to earn his love and that he shouldn't have to do that and he'll never be like him
- Albie talks to Luke and tells him in his own way that he loves him.
- Kayla tells Luke about the pregnancy. Luke tells Nicky that the DA isn't letting go of the Oxy autoposy revelation.
- Marty tells Albie that the people who blackmailed Dottie want double the payment the next day.
- In the flash forward Albie and Nicky burn the bloody clothes and murder weapon. It's an awared that Nicky won for a song.
