Cindy Strauss' husband is found dead from what looks like an overdose. The police find a suicide note, but hide it from Erich Blunt's legal team while they work on proving it was faked.

The police question those who would benefit from the man's death. In the end, they figure out that Erich's CTO was responsible when they notice an odd grammatical choice in one of her emails that was also in the suicide note. She didn't kill him, but when he overdosed, she left the typewritten note. She couldn't email it because he didn't have wifi, so her plan to get Erich free didn't work.

Erich's trial began, but so far both sides have done well presenting.
