They're ending Murphy in the Morning the day before Thanksgiving. Miles tries to run out without answering Murphy about Thanksgiving at her house. While she's talking to Miles, Frank tries to bug out. While she's talking to Frank, Corky tries to sneak out. Nobody wants to go to Murphy's because she doesn't cook.

Murphy wants to make it special because Avery isn't usually around. Murphy spent $350 for a 25 pound turkey. She invites Pat too. he's vegan.

Murphy calls into a turkey hotline to help her prepare and cook her turkey. She has a turkey apron on and has never used her oven. The instructions are still inside. 

Murphy takes nuts out as an appetizer because the turkey will take 5 and a half hours to cook and everybody's there.

Corkey offers her help. Frank doesn't smell the turkey cooking. 

Murphy: That did not happen to my turkey. MY turkey grew up on a beautiful farm in Vermont with its own bed, turn down service every night, free cable and then ... One bad day.

Pat brought his own food.

Phyllis shows up with her assistant and liquor and orange hair streaks. Murphy invites to assistant and his family. Phyllis' hair is in a top ponytail or something.

Avery shows up. 

Frank: Because she loves you and wants to make you happy, and WE have to pay for it.

They're hurting Murphy's feelings.She keeps talking about the $350 turkey.

They're watching football. Corky wants to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Phyllis talks about her days as a cop.

Avery heads into the kitchen to check on Murphy. Maria goes into the kitchen and helps Murphy with the dinner. Maria talks about them being undocumented for as long as they have been. Murphy can't believe Avery is all grown up. He flushed her piece of the Berlin wall and regrets time she missed with him.

All the guys are looking at a picture of a turkey. They're all hungry. Avery keeps pouring Phyllis wine. Phyllis: That's a pretty stingey pour there, junior.

They're all fighting over the TV. Corky was watching a sappy movie and Phyllis wants to watch cops.

Phyllis: Thumb? That's not a thumb. Why would an angry wife cut off her husband's thumb?

Murphy comes out to announce that dinner will be in an hour, then the electricity went out. They move dinner into the food truck out front.

ICE shows up to take the Gonzales' away. A neighbor called about their food truck. Phyllis steps up to talk to them. Avery tells Pat to record their removal on Thanksgiving. They say they're just following orders. Phyllis promises to take care of Miguel. Murphy is screaming out of the food truck that she knows people and they're not going anywhere. She's choked up.

At Murphy in the Morning. Murphy goes off-script. She called in every favor, but it wasn't enough. She gets choked up in her speech about immigration.
