Naomi wakes up to Zumbado fighting with some men. The two escape to an electrical closet, where Naomi asks Zumbado to tell her the truth about everything. He opens a mental teleportation with her, allowing her to see and feel his memories.

Memories show Zumbado on Earth-29, with two moons and red flowers. While Zumbado was working on a crane, a meteor strike came and knocked him off. He saved himself from death. On that day, 29 people gained abilities.

Naomi and Zumbado attempt to escape from STAR labs, as Zumbado continues to show her memories, including meeting Akira for the first two and the two of them using their abilities for good. That is until they start being hunted by Brutus.

Zumbado shows her how he was forced to leave his planet and adapt to this new one.

Annabelle goes to Dee searching for Naomi, and the two end up at Zumbado's dealership, where they deduce that Naomi and Zumbado are at the lab.

Dr. Bell tells Naomi and Zumbado over the speaker that she only needs one of them to complete her experiment.

Zumbado stays and tells Naomi to run, but she remains hidden while Dr. Bell readies Zumbado for her machine. As she fires up the device, it malfunctions, and Naomi fights off guards to get inside. Using her powers, Naomi is ultimately able to overpower the machine, and she and Zumbado escape with Dee, who arrives to help them.

Naomi visits Zumbado at work the next day, where he tells her that Brutus was hunting the 29 because two of them had a baby together, and he was scared of the power that child could have. That child was Naomi, and Zumbado promised her parents to look after her.

He tells her that Brutus will be sending more people after her, and she will be the one to save the world.
