NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 6
Home Is Where the Heart Is
Navy Lt. Commander George Owens and and his lady friend are interrupted during a sexy evening by an intruder, who is killed by another man, John Martin, the building's maintenance man. Hanna and Callen visit Martin's apartment, and discover that he has a hidden stash of weapons. They find an article about a local girl, Carla Stone, clipped out, and decide to track her down, in case she's in danger. Anna and Nell go out to Carla's home, while Hanna and Callen go to her school. Granger sits Deeks down for a heart-to-heart talk, then sends him back to the hospital. Kensi has an incomplete spinal-cord injury, and the neurologist tells her that she's looking at four to six months of therapy. Carla comes home early from school, but Martin is at the school, where he's attacked by another man, after which Hanna and Callen arrest him. After some interrogation, Martin admits that the girl is his daughter and is in danger, and that he is Tobin Shaked, a former Mossad agent who fears revenge from rogue agent David Fish. Anna and Nell find Carla's apartment broken into, then there's an explosion, knocking them both out, while a strange man leads Carla away. Shaked identified the man as Ariel, a tracker. Deeks takes Kensi outside, where he has takeout delivered. An upset Kensi refuses food and asked to be taken back to her room. An exchange is set by phone. Carla is hidden inside a drum, so Shaked turns himself over to Ariel while the team looks for Carla. Hanna revives her with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Eric finds that Fish is in L.A. Hanna and Callen find Ariel, then Fish, at a nearby warehouse. Hanna and Callen clean up the henchmen while Deeks takes out Fish by blowing up a fuel tank. Callen urges Shaked to be a father to his daughter, rather than run away again.
