Pride tries to comfort LaSalle as they investigate the murder of LaSalle's girlfriend Savannah. An unknown shooter opens fire on them, killing two NOPD officers and injuring others, including Brody.

They quickly learn that Baitfish is behind it, and the manhunt is on.

Councilman Hamilton arrives at NCIS to offer his assistance in tracking down Baitfish, but Pride refuses.

Baitfish, on the run, meets with Sonja Percy, who is still undercover. Together they heist a truck for Baitfish's retirement score. Unfortunately, they aren't able to find what they're looking for, and the trucker injures Percy before he is killed.

Percy manages to switch her GPS chip into Baitfish's phone before he abandons her in an isolated location.

The team realizes that the truck was carrying smuggled antiquities and that Sasha Broussard was basically creating an open door for smuggling into the ports.

Baitfish surrendurs to the NCIS team and reveals Percy's location. The U.S. Attorney, over the objections of both NCIS and NOPD, gives Baitfish a sweetheart deal in exchange for information about the Broussard Syndicate operation.

Pride tries to get Sasha to confess and arrest her, but she refuses to say anything.

After the Marshals take Baitfish into custody, their transport caravan is ambushed and Baitfish escapes in the chaos. LaSalle pursues him into a warehouse and almost shoots him before Pride and Brody arrive.

Baitfish tells them the smuggling is only the tip of the iceberg, but somone kills him before he can say much more.
