Recap

A wedding reception for a Seabee is rudely interrupted by the discovery of the dead body of Navy reservist Lt. Max Griggs, a drone pilot. No one at the reception seems to know him or why he was there. Griggs's wife is just as ignorant, thoguh his son Ryan shows them that his car had been vandalized with the word "killer".

Griggs's commanding officer directs them to the angry protesters congregating at the front gate. The glow-in-the-dark paint on the car leads them to one of the protesters, Kevin Mitchell, who vehemently denies killing Griggs, though he cops to the vandalism. He points them towards Griggs's "secret lair," a storage unit which contains surveillance photos of a number of different military bases.

Photos of one field in particular lead the team to the discovery of a corpse, a jogger who'd been missing for a year. They determine that she was hit by a car, and realize that a bar on her jogging route is a popular Seabee hangout. Griggs, while on a mission, overheard one of the Seabees confess to accidentally killing the jogger with his car, and Griggs was trying to find evidence. He had shown up at the wedding to confront the man, who was the groom's best man, who then killed him with a steak knife.

LaSalle bonds with Lt. Griggs's son Ryan over their lost loved ones.
