- Lyn, Floyd, and Claude talk about their relationship and clear the air. Claude is accepting of it all.
- Lauren helps Leyla study.
- Max and Helen talk about their relationship and what Luna should call Helen because she thinks of her as a new mom and Max reminds Helen that she doesn't know Georgia. They witness an accident with an ambulance.
- They help everyone out and rush them to the hospital. Max heads back to the accident and gets PTSD thinking about Georgia.
- People wheeled in talk about the ambulance going too fast including one of the paramedics. Lauren talks to the driver, Robert. He blames himself.
- Max notices the report for the patient who dies during surgery is missing. He confronts Robert about it, and he admits that he took the report and ripped it out. he wasn't supposed to be transporting the patient and it wasn't an emergency call.
- Veronica tells Iggy that the has to see patients again or lose his job and she tells Floyd that Claude talked to her about changing around the program.
- Helen and Agnes treat a young girl with Sickle Cell who is having seizures and things and the father shares that the study that was supposed to help her was called off by the hospital.
- When Helen goes to ask them about the testing they tell her that she was the one who ordered a reallocation of funds during the pandemic and they never got all of that back.
- Robert is on the roof and tells Lauren and Max that his battalion chief ordered him to pick people up outside of his jurisdiction to compete with private companies under the orders of Dr. Fuentes.
- Fuentes alludes to knowing about Lauren's bribe and wants more more from her.
- Claude and Floyd are still duking it out professionally.
- Helen goes to Fuentes asking for money to make up for the cut funding. She does it but it comes at the expense of another department.
- Max tells Veronica that he's getting their own private ambulances and she agrees that it was a good idea.
- Iggy tries to see patients but can't do it because of his anxiety. He talks to Martin about it and they agree he can resign.
- Lauren calls Louie to make another donation to the hospital for Veronica.
- Max talks to Luna about calling Helen something special and decides on the British version of "mum."
