In season 4 episode 2 of New Girl, we learn how to properly date via an online dating app called Dice (think of it as Tinder) and the friends decide to partake in pot one last time.

--Schmidt is using a new dating app called Dice and tells Jess that she is not ready to online date, Jess does not listen and soon finds herself on a variety of odd dates.

--Jess learns that you just need to make up odd excuses to get out of an uncomfortable date but she has a change of heart when she realizes that she is truly hurting people.

--Cece, Coach and Nick decide to partake in a little bit of pot before Winston becomes an official police officer. 

--Winston isn't being accepted as a fellow cadet, so he decides to invite Cece, Coach and Nick to a party being thrown by his police officer comrades. Winston realizes his friends are high and he gets the cadets involved in a hilarious prank. 

--Schmidt learns a valuable lesson about relationship and that he should take them seriously. He changes his mind quickly though when the woman he is sleeping with just wants to have a one night stand.
