The Evil Queen came to Snow White in a dream and tells her that she and David have 12 hours to surrender their hearts to her, otherwise, she will use water from the Underworld to destroy the citizens of Storybrooke. 

While their friends try to find a sapling that came from the first spark of true love, the only weapon that can be used to imprison the Evil Queen, Mary Margaret and David flash back to the first time they met. 

Zelena catches the Evil Queen and Rumplestiltskin engaging in a heavy makeout session. She's angered, and starts to turn green with envy, but Gold realizes that someone is playing them.

Hook gives Emma a pep talk, reminding her that she is not only the Savior, but also the product of True Love.

As the town gathers together at the request of the Evil Queen, Zelena plants a seed in Belle's mind that her husband is up to some new hobbies with the Queen, and that he plans to use the shears on their son when he is born. 

The Queen puts a sleeping spell on Snow and Charming with a new twist: when one is awake, the other is sleeping. Now they can never be together, unless the curse is broken.
