Jamie starts his day not knowing that he'll be reunited with Claire. When he finally wakes up, he explains that he thought she was a vision like all the other times he's seen her over the years. Her return immediately causes disruption to his life -- his assistant quits when he walks in on the two of them kissing...and Jamie not wearing any trousers. Claire tells Jamie about Bree, and shows him pictures. He comes clean about Willie. Claire feels insecure realizing that he'd been with another woman, but he assures her that he didn't love Geneva. Jamie now wears glasses sometimes and looks super hot in them. Claire confesses about dying her hair. They both still think that the other is drop dead gorgeous (because they are). Jamie drags Claire with him to a meeting, they meet Fergus in the street, which is a touching reunion, if far too short. Jamie has a secret that Fergus knows about, and he wants Ned Gowan's advice. They head to the World's End Tavern, and meet Mr. Willoughby, Jamie's Chinese associate whom he rescued some years back. Jamie heads to the cellar to meet with the excise man with whom he has a deal. The excise man gets a share of the profits in exchange for turning a blind eye to Jamie's liquor smuggling. He accuses Jamie of shorting him, Jamie denies it. Things don't end well. Jamie takes Claire back to his place, which she is shocked to find out is in a brothel. The madam isn't very happy to see Claire either. Jamie and Claire spend the night getting to know each other again, and having lots and lots of sex. Jamie has to go out the next morning, and Claire eventually heads downstairs for some breakfast. She has a hilarious discussion with the whores, who think she is one of them. Madam Jeanne finds her when a customer comes and ushers her back up to Jamie's room. Claire is surprised by a large bald man ransacking the room. He wants Jamie's ledgers, and threatens to rape Claire.
