Frankenstein's firstborn, Caliban, told the story of his creation and explained why he had returned to find his creator. Caliban wants someone to love and he wants Frankenstein to create an immortal woman for him to love. 

Meanwhile, Vanessa sees a vision of Mina, which takes her, Sir Malcolm, Ethan and Sembene to the London Zoo in the middle of the night. There they are surrounded by wolves, who mysteriously back off when Ethan confronts them. They also find a young man/creature that seems to be under the same influence as the thing that has Mina.

The group decides to take an oath to do all they can to find Mina, which includes letting Frankenstein try a blood transfusion to "cure" the young man from the creature's influence and hopefully be able to talk to him about Mina's whereabouts.
