Lily is seen snuggling with the corpse of the man she recently murdered. She returns home smiling and fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Caliban is quite upset with Victor for allowing her to spend time with Dorian. He threatens his creator's life, and assures Victor that he and Lily will run away together. She will be his, that his master can count on.
Later, an unhinged Lily realizes that Caliban is her true equal and that they must destroy Victor. Have Brona's memories returned?
Inspector Rusk pays Sir Malcolm a visit inquiring regarding his previous meetings at Scotland Yard. Though Malcolm attempts to play it cool, Rusk knows that he is hiding something.
The inspector asks why Malcolm warned his predecessor to stop hunting a man, and start hunting for a beast. "I don't recall" Malcolm replies, but the inspector is well aware of his connection to Ethan.
Mr. Lyle completes the translation of the Verbis Diablo. As it turns out, two demonic brothers were banished from Heaven. One was sent to Earth to feed off the blood of the living by night. And the other was sent to Hell to feed on the souls of the dead.
Their quest for the mother of evil will allow one of these brothers to conquer Heaven and defeat God.
During this meeting, Evelyn attempts to assert her control over Sir Malcolm. Unfortunately, it backfires as Sembene takes Malcolm into another room. His memories get the better of him, as he watches his deceased loved ones dancing happily. Love conquers all, and the enchantment is broken.
Sir Malcolm then confronts Evelyn alone. The witch informs him his role was simply to lure Vanessa to the master. She offers him a place at her side for all eternity, but he declines disgusted by her words. She leaves him to his nightmares.
Elsewhere, a curious Angelique discovers Dorian's hidden room. When he returns, he finds her staring at his portrait.
Though he asks if she could love his true self, he hands her a glass of poison wine. Angelique says she could love him, but collapses at his feet as the twisted portrait watches him.
