As she begins preparing for the upcoming Princess Ball, Blanca finds Elektra at her new job and opens the House of Evangelista's doors to her former mother. Initially somewhat difficult, Elektra proves to be a powerful glue for the house when Blanca helps get her a high paying hostess position at an upscale restaurant. The two bond and during the ball, Elektra shades the House of Ferocity -- and wins Papi and two former Abundance members back -- after they try to humiliate Blanca on the night she is crowned House Mother of the Year. 

Damon helps Ricky with a dance audition for a high profile music video, and both are offered spots on a tour with the artist. But Blanca learns from Helena that Damon's scholarship at The New School has been renewed, forcing Damon to choose between touring with his boyfriend and strengthening his talent. Ultimately on the night of the Princess Ball, Damon reveals that he's continuing his education while Ricky hits the road. 

As Pray gets Blanca's dress ready for the Ball and the night Mother of the Year is crowned, she reveals he has a crush and gives him a phone number to set up a date. Pray is hesitant after Costas's death and about revealing is positive status, so when the date comes around, Pray gives the other man an easy out to leave before they get too interested in one another. Upon hearing Pray's status, his date doesn't flee and only asks how he can help. 

Angel is struggling with getting over Stan when Blanca reveals she's HIV positive. Their conversation helps Angel see her important role as a shoe-filler as Evangelista's House Mother after Blanca is gone. It also helps Angel take the necessary steps to get over Stan after he comes back around during the Princess Ball with more promises of a future together.  Stan, meanwhile, moves back into his and Patty's house, with the condition that he'll quit his Manhattan job and Patty will get her Master's Degree so she can finally be financially independent of Stan.
