Davis gets drunk on the roof of his office building as he and Saxe toast to Theo’s case. Davis then receives a call from Monet about Diana’s arrest, and Saxe goes to the precinct in his place due to his presentation.

Jenny and Blanca show Diana the picture of her on the roof, but she plays clueless when they question her.

Tariq tells Davis about the RICO, Lauren still being alive, and Saxe being a CI. Davis then gets himself together and heads down to the precinct.

Tariq goes to the Tejadas and tells Monet and Dru about the RICO case.

Cane tells Effie about Diana’s arrest and asks what she may know. She then thanks him for paying her tuition, and the two hook up.

Jenny and Saxe talk about his representing Diana at the precinct, and Davis catches them in conversation. Davis and Saxe then meet with Diana, who wants the blame to fall on her and not her family. But when she starts talking, Davis spills Saxe’s drink and slips her a note telling her to put Saxe on to Effie.

Tariq shows up at Effie’s dorm, and she has Cane hide in the bathroom. He asks her to pick up cups and fill coffee orders, and she agrees if she can get her own product.

The Castillos and Tejada’s meet, and Monet tells them she is shutting down the business for a few days until she deads the heat on her. The Castillos fight back at first before Evelyn steps in. Later, Evelyn asks Dru if he knows where Gordo is, and he says no.

Kiki goes to Brayden after he skips work and tells him that he needs to come into the office and handle the Tejadas, as Monet has been calling to speak to Lucas.

Monet tells Cane about the RICO and not to tell Effie anything.

Tariq tells Brayden about the RICO, and he tells Tariq about Weston Holdings being a ponzi scheme.

Monet ambushes Lucas at a country club, informing him that she wants her money back.

Diana meets with Saxe, telling him she doesn’t know if she can trust Davis. She then tips him off to Effie, and he returns the information to Jenny and Blanca. The three then decide to move forward with the tip, putting a tail on Effie, realizing that this will blow Saxe’s cover.

Dru destroys his bedroom as he watches Everett on television, coming out to the world and introducing his boyfriend.

Tate debates his opponent on the Stansfield campus, and later, he and Harper disagree about his meeting with the Westons. He then proposes marriage, which she doesn’t accept or reject.

Theo tells Davis and Saxe that his treatments are working. And after Saxe leaves the office, Davis confides in him that Saxe is working with the FEDs, and he’s concerned about that affecting his release.

Tariq tells RSJ about the Ponzi scheme, and later he, Tariq, and Brayden meet with Lucas, and tell him that he will return RSJ’s money, the Tejada money, and Tariq’s trust or RSJ will go to the SEC.

Agent Young and other officers follow Effie to her pickup, where she grabs boxes. They then follow her to the warehouse, where they grab her and head inside to find the product. But Agent Young only finds sugar inside, and they let Effie go.

Dru sees Everett and his boyfriend at a restaurant, and after Everett approaches him, he causes a scene and laments losing someone he had. And unbeknownst to him, his breakdown is captured on video and spreads around online. Evelyn sees the video and realizes Dru lied to her about Gordo.

Cane meets with Tariq and Monet and tells them Saxe has to die. Effie then shows up and says she knows why they did what they did to her but wishes someone had told her in advance.

Jenny confronts Saxe about the Effie tip, believing that he set her up. She then tells him she can no longer offer him protection.

Saxe calls Tariq, leaving him a message that if he ends up dead, he’ll never learn where Tasha and Yas are. But his message is cut off when Theo holds him at gunpoint from the backseat of his car.

Tariq plays Saxe’s message for Davis, and he figures out that Theo may have taken him after he gets a call from the clinic and learns that Theo lied about the treatments going well.

Cane and Effie hook up, but they’re interrupted by Blanca, who comes to arrest Effie. Outside, Jenny is waiting to arrest her for attempted murder and reveals Lauren in the backseat of a car. Cane catches Lauren alive as well when he comes outside.

Tariq and Davis find Theo and Saxe at the helicopter pad overlooking the city, and they try to stop Theo from killing Saxe, but he shoots him in the chest and then kills himself.
