Pretty Little Liars Details

This show is based on a series of novels.

Pretty Little Liars airs on ABC Family and follows the lives of four girls whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison. A few years later, they receive text messages from someone using the name "A" who threatens to expose their secrets... including long-hidden gems they thought only Alison knew about.

They are pretty and they are liars, but there is nothing little about these girls. They are so full of life! With the disappearance of Alison DeLaurentis, the rest of the clique lost touch. When Aria Mongtomery returned to Rosewood, a body was discovered that was believed to be that of Alison. Once again, scared and threatened by the unknown "A," Aria reunited with her friends, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields. Together they try to navigate the waters of dead bodies and lies that pile up around them.

Hanna once had a friend named Mona Vanderwall, and she becomes a thorn in the girls' side. Aria meets a young man in a restaurant and hits it off, only to learn he is her English teacher at Rosewood High, Ezra Fitz. Hanna meets the brooding silent type Caleb Rivers. The girls date and debate and the mysteries continue.

Pretty Little Liars Quotes

It's immortality, my darlings.

Alison

You think the truth is this big shiny disco ball of purity then go ahead and try it. See what it gets you. Telling the truth to the wrong person at the wrong time is how I ended up where I did. Take it from me you're always better off with a really good lie.
