The liars join the Ravenswood Halloween party and start trying to track down Alison. Hanna gets separated from the group and ends up in a creepy old mansion. She gets trapped in a phone booth but is rescued by Caleb's new friend, Miranda. The other liars follow Hanna's trail to the house and hear what appears to be Ali's screams. Spencer confronts A and is knocked unconscious. Unfortunately, the group was merely following recorded screams. Grunwald shows up and says that the tape was one of her sessions with Ali, stolen six months ago. And she gets a feeling that one of the girls has been "touched" by the person Ali feared the most. Once they return home, Alison finally reveals herself to the girls. All she says is, "Remember what I told you at the hospital Hanna," before disappearing.
