On Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 17, "The Bin of Sin," Hanna decides to take matters into her own hands.

We found out at the end of the last episode that the storage locker, holding the barrel and evidence of Mona's murder, was registered to Hanna. The girls want to devise a plan together, but Hanna isn't interested in waiting around to get framed and join Alison in jail. 

Hanna has been branching out on her own a lot lately, much to the chagrin of her friends. Caleb tried to stop her, but ended up going with her. Everything was gone except for the barrel. As the 2 leave, they pass Toby and Detective Tanner in the hallway.

This makes everything even worse for Toby. When he shares his theory about Holbrook with Tanner, she makes it clear that if it was Mona's remains in the barrel, Holbrook will be coming for the liars. She reiterates to Toby that he needs to tell her if he knows anything.

Spencer and Toby are on the outs.

Aria shows Ezra the letter and at first he is find with it. After a few more readings, he realizes that he has held her back from experiencing a lot of high school and doesn't want that same fate for her in college.

Talia flirts with Emily. Jason flirts with Ashley.
