Eli brings Noah and Ezekiel back to his Mexican compound after killing Abel. Eli calls Gerry and tells him to kill Noah's family. Phoebe is suspended by the DEA and taken off Eli's case. Gerry tells Joey to burn down the Funk house, with the family trapped inside. Joey tells Anna her family has to run. Anna hints to Joey that her family will need a new father if Noah is dead. Phoebe convinces Carla, a Mexican detective, to gather cops she trusts and raid the Voss compound with her and Bronco. Joey strangles Gerry then hangs him up to make it look like a suicide. He calls Anna and tells her but she denies that Noah is dead, so she doesn't need Joey as her new husband. Eli tells Noah how a drunk driver had driven into his cart, killing his entire family, which changed him into the man he is now. An angry Joey takes Isaac to see that Anna is running the local Mennonite drug-dealing operation. Tina collects Isaac from baptism class and shows him Noah's hymnal outlining his investigation. Eli preaches about Noah's sins then hangs him by his hands from a gallows, then has pallets set on fire underneath him. Hanging there, Noah recites the Lord's Prayer. The raid begins. Under fire, Bronco climbs up and rescues Noah, getting shot in the leg as they retreat. Bronco gives Noah his gun. Noah catches up with Eli. Noah won't shoot him until Eli points his gun at Ezekiel then Noah shoots Eli. Phoebe tells Noah his family is safe. Isaac decides to go through with his baptism. Jay busts Chief Kingsley before she can flee. Noah arrives and sends Ezekiel in the baptism ceremony. Because of his sin of killing Eli, Noah is leaving the community.
