The Revenge season 4 premiere opens with Emily and Nolan planning a Memorial Day party to start the summer season in the Hamptons. She has purchased Grayson Manor and redecorated to remove all traces of Victoria from its walls. Nolan insists the house must have a name but Emily disagrees.

When the two go into town, Emily and Nolan meet Nancy, a local who was hurt by one of the Hamptons elite. Emily invites Nancy to their party. 

Following his arrest for Charlotte's kidnapping and the dismissal of all charges, Jack Porter has become a cop. He tells Emily it has long been a dream of his but he put it off to protect her Revengenda. 

Daniel and Charlotte are floundering in their parents' absence. Conrad is dead and Victoria, as far as they know, is traveling the world to avoid criminal charges. She, however, is still locked away in a psychiatric facility. She uses a new patient's weakness to her own advantage and escapes.

Gideon LeMarchal has pursued Charlotte, who has been asking Daniel to cover her rent each month. Daniel has no money since stepping down as Margaux's second in command at the LeMarchal company and is struggling to keep up appearances. 

Victoria returns to Grayson Manor and vows to take revenge on Emily.
