Recap

Jughead introduces the viewers to Thornhill and its history of curses. The story is split between Cheryl in the present, Poppy Blossom in 1957, and Abigail Blossom in 1892.

Abigal, Poppy, and Cheryl get ready for the day. Abigail welcomes a friend to her home, Cheryl to her students, and Poppy to a group of women.

Cheryl tells her students that Bailey's Comet is passing over the town. Cheryl informs the students that Nana Blossom is weak and is on her death bed; she plans to conduct rituals. Nana Blossom wants Cheryl to continue with the ritual.

Cheryl reads from the book about Poppy Blossom. In 1957, Poppy is talking with Mrs. Tate about running the diner; Poppy gives her some herbs to help her run the diner for the day.

In 1892, Abigail is interviewing a new headmistress for her school. Ms. Tomissina has no husband; Abigail hires her.

Ms. Tomissina wants to teach the girls about Bailey's Comet, but Abigail is against the idea. She doesn't want the girls to be in the woods.

In 1957, Poppy discusses the comet at the next ladies' salon. The women are intrigued, but one of the ladies thinks it's a soviet missile. The ladies worry about spies and what people are up to; a Weatherbee was accused of being a spy. Poppy says she doesn't want any witch hunts.

Bitsy Cooper tells Poppy that she's not happy in her marriage; her husband Jack wants her to have another baby. Poppy talks about divorce (which Bitsy rejects), but Poppy gives her a witchy birth control remedy so that she won't get pregnant.

Bitsy and Poppy kiss. Bitsy freaks out and runs away.

In 1892, Abigail and Ms. Tomissina kiss after apologizing for their earlier argument. After hooking up, Constable Keller arrives claiming that Tomissina is a murderer, but Abigail claims she hasn't been at the school.

Velma asks Poppy about how to spicy up the bedroom with her husband. Poppy gives her a copy of the Kama Sutra and some herbs to sprinkle into her husband's meal.

Jack and Bitsy visit Poppy. Jack threatens Poppy and says he will kill her if she gets in the way of his marriage.

In 1892, Tomissina tells Abigail that she was once married to a cruel and abusive man. She killed her former husband when it became clear he was planning to kill her.

In the present, Brita heads into Nana Blossom's room; she knows something is going on between Cheryl and Nana. They agree to let Brita stay.

In 1957, the men of Rivervale visit Poppy and threaten her to leave town. They want her gone for interfering in their marriages.

In the past, Fen Fogarty tells Abigail that her brother James died in the war. In James' dying message, he claims to want Abigail to marry Fen. Tomissina warns Abigail that she feels Fen is lying and evil; she doesn't want her to marry him. They plan to search for the truth.

Tammy Tate warns Poppy that she might want to take her meal to go. Everyone is staring at her with death glares within the diner.

Poppy returns home to find the police searching through her home. Accusations were placed of her being a Russian spy.

In 1892, Abigail and Tomissina find proof that Fen forged James' signature and created a fake letter seal. There are artifacts of the dark arts in his stuff. Tomissina believes him to be a warlock.

Abigail finds photos of dead people in Fen's trunk. They believe him to be a murderer. Fen killed James.

Fen plans to cut Tomissina's throat, but Abigail agrees to marry him.

In 1957, the police interrogate her and demand that she admits to being a communist. Poppy refuses to sign. Bitsy is upset that Poppy won't sign.

Bitsy reveals that she's pregnant. Bitsy turns on Poppy and calls her lots of mean names before abandoning her. After nine months, Jack pulls Poppy out of jail to help Bitsy during her labor.

Cheryl reveals that Abigail married Fen. Bitsy gave birth to her daughter as Bailey's Comet passed through town; Poppy gives her something for when the time is right.

In 1892, Abigail attacks Fen with an ax. However, she's not able to save Tomissina in time; Fen killed her. Fen curses Abigail to live a long and lonely life for all her days as Bailey's Comet passes. Fen dies from her wounds.

Cheryl reveals Poppy was banished to live at Thornhill forever alone. The same thing happened to Abigail too.

Cheryl reveals that Jack died under mysterious circumstances a year after his second child was born. They believe it to be a toxin.

In the present, Sabrina Spellman arrives at Thornhill. Sabrina has arrived to help Nana Blossom and Cheryl. She's an old friend of Cheryl's; they have similar friends, are in the same softball league, and they're both witches.

Sabrina is at Thornhill to help with a Transference spell. Sabrina, Cheryl, and Nana Blossom conduct the spell.

The spirit of Abigail was placed in Nana Blossom's body. The spell was done to break Fen's curse and allow the spirits to be at peace.

Sabrina tells Brita that Abigail Blossom was cursed to live forever; that both Poppy and Cheryl were both Abigail. The spell moved Abigail's spirit into Nana Rose's body so that Abigail would die once and for all. The spirit of Nana Rose is now in Cheryl's body.

Sabrina claims witches don't die; they simply come back from the dead, just like she did. Abigail and Tomissina reunite from the beyond.
