-A baseball team's assistant coach, Ron McKenna is found dead in the locker room shower. Maura declares it a suspicious death.

-Star player Manny Vega's bat was used to kill him. Ron was hired as his sober coach.  

-Then Vega is killed in a car crash. His autopsy shows he wasn't drunk but was poisoned with antifreeze over a period of weeks.

-In the dumpsters outside of the stadium, Frankie finds bloody clothing and rubber gloves. The finger prints inside the gloves link back to another player Jesse. Jesse was poisoning Manny because he wanted to be the star.  He also killed McKenna when he caught him putting the antifreeze in Vega's drink.

-Jane's younger brother Tommy is released from prison and living at Maura's along with Angela.

-Everyone suspects Tommy when Maura's home is robbed but Korsak proves that it wasn't him. The real criminals are arrested and Maura's property is recovered.
