Jane jumped off the bridge after Paul Wescourt and the next morning they still haven’t been found. Maura is blaming herself for not trying to stop Jane. Korsak finds a hung over Mrs. Wescourt at home the next morning. She’s furious at being lied and cheated on and doesn’t care if Paul is alive or dead.  

Jane and Paul are both found alive. Maura is upset that Jane jumped off the bridge but the two eventually make up. 

They reopen Dani Mitchell’s murder investigation but any other suspects, including Paul’s wife have alibis. 

Maura realizes that Dani’s hair was cut after she was murdered just like another murder. Korsak visits, Mark Talbot in prison, the original killer and finds out that he had a pen pal, Sarah Daniels who may have known Mark cut the hair of his victim’s after he killed them. But when Sarah is brought in for questioning, they realize that she’s in a wheelchair. Someone stole her ID. 

The ID was stolen from the same building where Paul’s wife sees her therapist. Eventually they break her alibi when they realize her online chess game was preprogrammed and not live. Paul wears a wire and tries to get her to confess but she pulls a gun on him. Jane and Korzak rush and Paul pulls the gun on his wife. Jane has to beg him to put it down. 

Angela asks Frankie to help her prep for a managerial position at a high-end restaurant. She does well in the interview but doesn’t get the job because she doesn’t have a college degree. 

Korsak buys their favorite bar as his retirement plan but plans to continue on the force. 

Nina shares with Maura that her boyfriend was killed by a 14-year-old student as a gang initiation back in Chicago. That’s when she left and came to Boston.
