Rizzioli & Isles Season 6 Episode 7 finds Maura and Jane investigating what appears to be a bizarre case. A teenage girl's dead body has been placed in a cage in the woods. The cause of death is not obvious and the girl does not appear to have been sexually assaulted. Maura and Jane must figure out not only what happened to her, but why, with very little evidence to go on.

Jane is frustrated by the lack of evidence in the case. She doesn't have any clear direction to go in and wants badly to slove the case. When an old medical school friend pays a strange visit to Maura, the detectives think they've finally gotten their break. Maura's friend is a psychiatrist, but did a patient commit the crime or is he covering up his own role in the murder?

While Jane and Maura struggle with the case, Maura and Angela try in vain to get Jane to accept a new couch for her birthday. Her old couch is worn out but she is loathe to part with it. Will she?
