Rizzoli & Isles Season 7 Episode 10 centers around Maura's past.

A standard murder investigation becomes personal when Jane discovers a card in a victim's pocket from his wedding to Maura. Maura quickly confesses to having been married for 24 hours and denies being drunk at the time.

The victim, Edward, is still alive though in a coma. He has the actual murder victim's phone at the time he is found and there is gunshot residue on his jacket. Maura is sure that he is no murderer but Jane says they need proof -- for now he is their prime suspect!

Maura is forced to confront her past and her apparent feelings for Edward. She tells Jane that Edward's mother, Tilly, drove them apart. Meanwhile, Tilly is very uncooperative with the investigation and thinks Maura is accusing Edward in order to get revenge on his family for her failed marriage.

Maura is not the only one with relationship troubles, as Angela runs into Ron's daughter, who apologizes for breaking Angela and Ron up, and Frankie and Nina struggle to deal with Nina's difficult mother being in town.
