Flashbacks show Maria being attacked by a masked man and knocked out.

Ramos asks Alex about aliens' existence and wanting to forge a relationship with them. After powering up the Lockhart machine, bats begin to fly into the building, killing themselves.

Max meets up with Michael and Liz and tells them about finding Maria at his house and Kyle missing. After Max tells them about the explosion, Michael starts to investigate.

Liz and Max discover a blood shovel near Max's house and find someone took the alien lightsaber sword.

Isobel gets into Maria's mind to try and locate her but keeps getting pushed out.

Michael finds the fragments of Kyle's radio near a radio tower that's been damaged. He deduces that Kyle used the radio to call for help, and it malfunctioned. And that whoever answered the SOS has Kyle.

Alex discovers Ramos has a damaged wrist before being called to help Michael at the radio tower.

Rosa finds her hearing has been amplified, and she goes to Isobel for help. Isobel pulls her into Maria's mind, but the noise overpowers her. Later, Rosa is able to quiet the noise and hears a song that brings them to the Crashdown.

Liz gives Alex the DNA from the bloody shovel, and he gets it tested at Deep Sky. After discovering the DNA sample from the shovel and Kyle's DNA are a 29% match, Alex hacks into the situation to get Ramos's DNA.

After confronting Ramos about him being Kyle's uncle, Ramos holds him at gunpoint.

Rosa figures out what Maria is trying to tell them in the mindscape. They are brought into her memories, which describes a different story from what Max told them.

They, along with Liz, discover that Jones is actually Max, and he is holding Maria's mind hostage.

After getting a tip about who stole the lightsaber, Max finds it being held by two men, and he kills them before taking the saber back.
