Liz confronts Max about his decision to give up his powers, and she leaves. Later, she goes with Shivani to New York to visit Rosa.

Max, Michael, and Bonnie hatch a plan to divide Clyde and Tezca. They believe the last piece of the puzzle is a ship to go home with, and Michael agrees to apply to him about the ship to get on his good side.

Isobel and Dallas use water as a conduit as they continue to access Dallas's memories.

Tezca tells Clyde that Bonnie betrayed them, and she uses Clyde's blood to help with the Alighting.

Maria tries to contact Mimi, and later while at the Pony, she believes Mimi is speaking to her through the jukebox and her calculator.

In Dallas's memories, Dallas and Isobel see Roy approaching Theo about placing Dallas in a pod for his protection. They also see Jones confront Theo about the bible and the "thing" Theo is making for him. Later, Theo gives Roy the board and octahedrons, and Roy suggests putting Dallas in a pod in the lake.

Michael and Bonnie talk to Clyde and agree to help him so they can get home.

Michael, Max, and Bonnie discover Roy had a farm where he could have housed a ship. They believe the house was under Sanders's name, and they approach him about it. He gives them the information for the land, which is the same land Tezca is recouping at.

Liz and Rosa get dinner with Shivani, but Rosa leaves abruptly when Liz turns the dinner into a discussion about her research. The two later make up, as Liz admits to feeling small amongst Rosa's accomplishments.

Dallas and Isobel go to the lake, where Dallas parts the water to retrieve the glasses.

Max, Michael, and Isobel get to the cave under Roy's land and confront Tezca. Michael attempts to shoot her with tranquilizers, but she turns the bullets back to them, knocking them out. Isobel and Tezca then duel, and Isobel has a flashback to her younger self fighting with Tezca. 

Max wakes up and shoots Tezca with the tranquilizers.

Using the glasses, Dallas reads the bible, which takes him to the desert, where he comes across the alien quicksand.

Michael and Max wonder if Clyde betrayed them since he knew Tezca would be at the cave.

Clyde, along with Bonnie, goes for a walk where he tells her that he witnessed her conversation with Michael and Max about Roy's land and played them into believing there could be a ship there. He also followed Dallas and Isobel and saw Dallas retrieve the glasses. They then approach Dallas at the quicksand and tells him he wants the bible and glasses in exchange for Bonnie's life.

Dallas gives over his belongings, but Clyde knocks Bonnie and Dallas into the quicksand.

At the Crashdown, Maria hears a milkshake being made even though no one was behind the counter at the time. Later she and Liz deduce that she's getting messages from Alex.

Dallas finds Alex's necklace underground, and his father appears, telling him that his journey is just beginning.
