When she receives word that Harrison is dead, Olivia and Jake return to D.C. to plan his funeral. She learns that Quinn has lured her there for the purposes of getting the gang back together.

At the White House, Fitz is blurring party lines with legislation, obviously dealing with losing both his son and Olivia as best he can. Cyrus keeps things running and revels in the power of the office.

While on their sojourn to D.C., Olivia receives a call from a senator which drags her back into the political arena. She tries to pass the case off to a colleague but finds she can't when the issue hits too close. Remembering what Harrison might have said, Olivia wonders whether she's truly a gladiator and later decides to suit up and go to work.
