On Scorpion Season 4 Episode 3, Allie tells Team Scorpion about Cabe being arrested. The whole team pitches in to cover his half million dollar bail. This means that they need to start digging themselves out of debt, so Paige takes a case.

Team Scorpion agrees to help a charity stop poachers. Cabe had to surrender his passport, so he has to stay behind and monitor things from the garage. He's also on Ralph babysitter duty.

While initially the job is to identify what rhinos were being hunted, so they could locate the poachers. They spot one poacher, and scare him off, but he had already shot a rare deer whose organs are believed to cure cancer.

The deer is pregnant, and now the mission becomes saving the deer and her fawn. Team Scorpion has to build a womb for the fawn and keep her warm. Meanwhile, they have to avoid the poachers and deal with Walter Gallo.

Team Scorpion divides and conquers. Sly is tasked with taking Jane doe (the mama deer) back to the wildlife center. The rest of the team focuses on saving the fawn by keeping her warm in her fake womb.

Meanwhile, Sly gets an intern, Patty. She helps him grease the wheels to get the science club a new place to meet. Ralph takes a liking to Patty, much to Paige's chagrin.
