Eleven starts to regret dumping Mike, but she quickly changes her tune when she uses her powers to spy on him, realizing he's just like all the other boys. 

The girls then choose Billy as their next spying target. Eleven sees Billy kidnap Heather, an they worry that something has happened. 

At Max's house, there's a bath tub filled with ice, and what seemed to be Heather's bag and some blood. 

Steve, Dustin, and Robin continue to make sense of what is going on. They realize that the coded message stood for various places in the mall. 

They noticed that the loading dock was well and truly armed for a loading dock. 

While that's going down, Nancy continues to fight back, saying there's somethng amiss about the rats in town. This doesn't go down well with her boss, or even Jonathan. 

In the end, Nancy and Jonathan find Mrs. Driscoll eating fertilizer. 

Hopper is livid that Joyce stood him up, but he starts to realize that she could be on to something with the magnets. 

Still, he wants Joyce to know that the town is safe. He heads to the lab to prove that there's nobody at the lab anymore. 

They are ambushed by Grigori who knocks Hopper out cold. 

Will starts to complain that Mike and Lucas don't care about being friends anymore because all they care about is girls. 

Mike flips out, saying they're growing up and they don't want to be sitting in a basement all of their life. 

This pushes Will to destroy Castle Byers, and he later reveals the Mind Flayer is back. 

Eleven and Max make their way to Heather's home, and everything seems fine ... until they leave and Heather and Billy deliver her parents to the Mind Flayer.
