Recap

We start in the Hawkins laboratory, and things are moving swimmingly.

Doctor Brenner takes 10 for testing and asks him questions.

The kids says that number 6 and the female member of staff have both been killed.

Brenner is shocked, but he hears a noise outside and the door flies off the hinges, knocking him down.

Ten is dead, and as he makes his way through the facility, every other kid is dead and even the staff members.

He gets to a part and Eleven's used her powers, seemingly to kill everyone.

In the present, Eleven tells Mike that she's having a great time.

The family are moving on.

Things take a turn at school when we learn that she's being bullied by the cool kids.

It gets worse during an assignment where she says that her father is a hero and someone concedes that he's not a historic hero.

After class, the kids destroy her project and she tries to use her powers.

Will watches her.

Joyce gets a message from Russia and when she opens it, it says that Hopper is alive.

It's a coded message.

Max is trying to move on, but she's stuck in the past, looking after her mother.

Her relationship with Lucas is over.

Dustin and Mike are in the Hellfire Club, but their first meeting coincides with the first football match of the season.

Lucas wants his friends to watch him play, but they can't leave the Hellfire Club behind.

Things take a turn when Lucas wins the game for the team and he sees his friends come out of the Hellfire club, missing his big break.

Eddie helps Chrissy, who has been suffering from mysterious visions.

He tries to find a drug to save her from it, but she is killed in his house by a creature he can't see.
